actually all you need to do is remove the pipe that goes from the intercooler to the throttle body and see if it's coated with oil and how much oil.
a turbo that's leaking oil can be repaired, but it's basically a rebuild (replace seals). figure anywhere from $300 (unauthorized shop, usually no warranty) to $700 (kkk authorized shop, one year warranty) for the rebuild.

If your crankcase breather is hooked up like stock, you don't necessarily have a leaky turbo, and you could have an oily intake issue, especially if your rings are getting worn.

Took out the intake-intercooler tube... no oil to be found. Does the air comming out of the BOV usually smell? I have been boosting heavy alot latly.. is it possible I am just smelling air that has been through the engine?
well... No oil. No ideas.

air coming out of the bov doesn't really smell, it's just air that's been compressed through the turbo.
check your air filter to make sure it's clean?
TurboTommy bought up a good point; how is your crankcase vent set up? is it stock? if it is, you could be smelling the oil vapors/blow by from the crank.

PLAN OF ATTACK:
Lindsey Turbo exchange?
I can send my K26/6 for a rebuilt K26/8... is this the time to upgrade?
