Default running temp between 1st and second hashmarks??

is there an actual range of running temps between the 1st and 2nd hashmarks or does it vary by car?

if the former what is that range? Thanks...

I have an aftermarket water temp gauge (Autometer) with the sensor mounted in the gooseneck that the radiator hose connects to. Low mark is ~195 degrees F and high is ~210 degrees F

EDIT: After seeing the other posts I kept a closer eye on mine this morning as it warmed up. Bottom mark was ~180 F and top ~210 F, my apologies for the misinformation!

The lower white hash mark is 80 degrees C, and the upper is 100 degrees C. Mine is normally between 80 and 90.
