Default FS: 1987 951 Heavily Modified

Asking $10,000 obo

It has 126k miles on it.

I bought it from a Rennlister 2 years ago & it is incredible fast.

-This car has a scored cylinder wall (see picture) & it comes with a replacement complete engine (with intake, turbo, block, head, exhaust) with 70k miles on it. Which is sitting on a pallet. The cylinder has been like this for 4 years. The previous owner discovered it, The car runs fine this way & has seen 10k miles since it was first noticed, but the long term solution is to replace the block.

- the car leaks oil, but its a porsche. (I'm talking a few drips after a hard drive, not an urgent repair)

- the suspension set up is a TRACK set up. Very rough on the road (just the way i like it)

- Belts were replaced 16k miles ago & could use a re-do

- clutch was replaced at 50k miles ago, but holds strong under full boost.

- this car ran a 13.5 1/4 mile @ 18psi. YOUTUBE

- i estimate the power around 350bhp

- Turbo achieves 16psi @ 3700rpms

- i just drove this car 700 miles last weekend to Maine & back. It was a rough ride, but the car made it without any issues.

- last tuesday a post-office truck put a quarter sized dent in my front header panel, i am waiting for my claim check to have it repaired

- the front splitter broke off last fall, i have not fixed it yet.

- Car is originally from Sacramento, i shipped it out here from LA.

Thanks,

Just so this stays congruant to the topic, I'm shipping a car...potentially, from L.A. back to FlA., so Any info that you could post that would help me, and a perspective buyer for this car would help a lot.
E

Jake...good luck with your sale.
If I hadn't found one that I love enough to sell my own, I would sure look into this. I know you to be an honest guy and a straight shooter. Anyone who buys this car can do so with confidence.

Jake is most likely, under- selling the quality of this car.
