Default Apex'i avc-r

Are the boost numbers accurate on the avc-r? The speedo sure isn't.

I set it to essentially 1 bar at 60% duty and boosted 1.87 while on a dyno. The whp numbers did not match boost. So either my wastegate is broke or the avc-r numbers are off

I had AVC-R and Zeitronix ZT-2 with map sensor side by side, and pressure difference was 0.0x bar. Still 1.87 bar is darn much...but the wastegate can be shot.

Disconnected the vacuum hose to solenoid and boosted 1.61 bar, wastegate's less then a year old, you can only guess which vendor it came from

I "upgraded" to that controller a long time ago, and disliked it so much I took it out and re-installed my original profec b. I found it to be overly complicated to set-up and program, and the tiny solenoid was loud and less accurate than the profec. I liked the idea of gear-based boost, but didn't find it worth the hassles.

I ended up giving it away. (Actually, I "sold" it to Danno about 5 years ago, but am starting to lose hope about getting paid...).

Loud? I don't mind the avc-r, but if you scared off by that, im repacing my wastegate with a synapse 40mm

The solenoid made a clicking sound I could hear in the cabin. The exhaust itself sounded the same of course.

Got your PM too -- yes, thank you very much for sending the cross-member! Very much appreciated! If I can ever return the favor, just let me know.
