Okay so i am almost done with putting my engine all back together and i cant seem to figure out where the wire that comes off the negative side of the battery and goes through the firewall on the left side connects to.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me...
Oh and after the firewall the line is about 1.5 feet

Pretty sure that one goes to the grounding point on top of the bellhousing...

 

Best pic I have is back by the oil fill tube. Circled the area, but it's hiding under a vacuum line.

 

It goes to a point on top of the bellhousing. Trust me, just fought trying to get it off a few days ago because I'm doing the clutch. I ended up cutting it and I'm gonna ground it somewhere else. Not sure why porsche thought it was a good idea to ground it all the way down there.

 

i thought that was where is went but isnt that where the two brown gournd wires go.
one is a little bit bigger with a larger eye and the other is smaller with a smaller eye...
???
are you guys saying i put the black wire that comes off the negative side of the battery over the bigger brown wire and ground then both there?

there are two points back there that two diff ground cables go to. It's practicaly side by side.

 

is there another place that would work as a better ground spot?
