KLA is probably the most simple and least $$. Weltmeister, beefy and heavier but very strong and a bit more $$, Brey-Krause is decent too. Then someone here did a GB on a really nice one, very nice.

Probably a bit hard to say what is the best. In terms of what they do I'd guess pretty much the same. Some look nicer for sure and that is probably reflected in the price. Conversely this is pretty hard to beat value for money. http://www.klaindustries.net/

The best one I saw was the dynatech, but unfortunately they are no longer in production I'm looking into racing dynamics, they have a pretty nice strut brace.

Darwin, spend your money on another type. RD sucks! Major fitment issues and all the ones I have seen rub the bottom of the hood.

The improvement in handling is very minimal. Only noticeable (if that) on a track driven car with stiff suspension. Otherwise there is more slop elsewhere to notice.

I bought a weltmeister one for my 944 spec car about 8 years ago long before the KLA came out. Otherwise I would have a KLA. I do notice that with the front end on jack stands I cannot remove or install my welt brace. The strut towers flex if there is the weight of the car on them. I never noticed this untill I had problems putting the brace back in with the front of the car in the air. Once on the ground the brace went in and all the bolts lined up. I can't say how much it does for performance since I have run with it for so long, but it is not that much and would be rather subtle. Not usefull on street car unless you like the looks.

Damn Darwin, I thought we were friends...

Whoever owns the S2 in the picture has the strut bar backwards. Not supposed to go over the master cylinder.

Darwin, there is a new Dynatech that is not mounted on a car that could possibly be acquired with the proper motivation for the owner...(not me).
