I use Freeze12 refrigerant, 100% compatible with all the components, one molecule different from R-12.
No conversions and no hassle involved in putting this in your system . I have had mine in for three years.
You can't normally buy at Autozone or Advanced. I was not ask for my MVAC Id when I purchased it at a local autoparts store. I think the price is around $8.50 a can. You shouldn't need but 4 cans if you have it under a vacuum. The great thing is that the discharge temp on High is 36 degrees when it is 90 here in Alabama. You might want to get someone who is familiar with Auto A/C systems to help. Guages,vauum pump ect. Anyway just my .02 cents.
