I've had a VP station locally here for a couple years now. When they first openned up, I think gas was in the $2.50ish/gal range ... 95 octane was $4.89/gal and 100 octane was $6.49/gal. Haven't been out there in quite some time, so went out today. Premium unleaded (91 octane) was $4.49/gal and the 95 and 100 octanes were still the same price!!!!! BTW, the 95 and 100 octanes are VP's unleaded 'Streetblaze' fuel.

thanks for the replys- i may have to go to the drag strip and fill up some cans w/ race fuel!
