For me the next P-car will be a pre 75 911 (Smog exempt here in CA) done up as a hot rod 73 RS clone.

but I will keep the 951 too.

I will be swapping my road car 997 carrera for a 997 turbo. If I decide to change the 951 track car it will be for a 996, also for the track!

I simply love the orange car but not so keen on the colour - White would look the nutz
Those are one in the same car if you weren't aware. It's a pretty trick car owned by Zoltan in Melbourne, Australia. He routinely shows the rear end to some pretty quick rear engined Porsches on the track. Hp is somewhere north of 500.

Close enough, 00-04 A6s used the S4 2.7 biturbo V6 and the extra room is a big plus.

I wouldn't mind a 335i thats for sure.

It depends on how the economy/business goes in the next few years. If good, maybe an early 996TT. If bad, I'll find a 944 with a bad motor and convert it to electric. I'll charge it with wind generators and solar panels, and use it to get to my job at the closest convenience store.

Ok, so seriously you guys i've been thinking about this alot and i'm really not sure... so some input. I'm going up to Sonoma State for college, and i'm not sure how great the 951 will make for a college car. With Infineon raceway only about thirty minutes away from the college, and my desire to keep on doing auto x and track days, possiby TT in the future, what should i do. I'm thinking about selling my turbo, and going with like a mini cooper S. I need something reliable, fun, and good gas mileage if possible. Maybe the 951 is the right choice? help me out!!! - Steven

I don't know if I would run the 951 hard while in college. No $$ to pay for things breaking.

Either a base 996, or sell the 951, and buy a lotus elise...

BMW 335IC TT 6 speed, when I can get one at the auction. I've been driving the E36 M3's and they are great cars and lots of fun when zipping in and out of traffic.

I'm having an unexpected amount of fun with the 91' Miata I recently purchased. It's a nice contrast to the 951. If I had the money, I would look into the Audi S5. That thing looks really badass!
