No worries, What I meant is you just tell it what your using. Yes, the Motec works with the 951, 968 and 911(missing teeth). I'm setting a m48 up, as we speak. I have a bunch of mechanical things to do before it starts but I can fill you in as it happens.

I didn't think the 951 had a missing tooth set-up. Just the reference tab.

Well the stock stuff would be crappy with the busted up connectors etc etc. Get good quality shielded wire and new connectors and all that and its fine IMHO.
Chris Whites its around $250 I think, plus sensor and it doesnt need to be adapted

Hoping to use the stock Speed/Ref. Coolant temp and TPS.
I would only have to add Air temp and 3 bar map.

Hes www.944enhancement.com but I dont know if theres pics still up of the trigger. It was a 60-2 wheel that mounts on the front pulley and then a nicely machined block that bolts to the AC adjustment rod (or alternator rod if you have AC delete) and mounts a sensor.

You are correct. Use an OE sensor in the back with a 60-2 flywheel or modifly the stock flywheel and then you will need to use a mag sensor for the sync. I usually just mount it on the cam gear and put the sensor in the dist. console. Easy and reliable. Set up two engines this way this week.

interested in the Cam gear.
Definately not interested in the modifying the Flywheel/sensor config.
I'd rather install on crank shaft than remove all that crap to get in there again!
Do you have any pics of how you mounted it on the cam gear with sensor in distributor.?
