yup, a cop from Oklahoma. Did you know that you can't drive with your fog lights on unless it's foggy in the state of Oklahoma? I've never heard of that before.

I've got an '04 WRX that I purchased new and it's been a daily driver the whole time. I absolutely love it. The AWD is great and it is a blast to drive in snow. It's mildly modded to 280-300 hp, I didn't want to destroy my only form of transportation. (At least not until I get the 951 up and running :-D)

There is such a variance in the amount that people mod the imprezas I definitely wouldn't let it get to you. And as someone mentioned earlier, just race em from a standstill and most likely they will feather the clutch to avoid transmission damage. The AWD tranny hasn't been known to handle too much abuse on the non-STi version.

Also keep an eye out for beefed up impreza RS', they are more than a few supercharged/trubocharged 2 door RS' running over 400 hp to the wheels.

 

Yea, there are a few fast RS's in this area... I just bumped into one with a 2.5 STI engine, cams, and a GT30R turbo. I didnt even try to race him
