Don't know anything about it, but the guy just may not know what he has or think it isn't worth much. If you get in contact with the guy and think he's fishy, just walk away.

Well...from the pics. You haven't seen it in person yet and pictures can be misleading. I hope it is what he says it is and I hope you end up getting it! Boost is addicting...

I think it is a mistake. That car has been on ebay for a few weeks. No sale at 10k and 8k. I bet it is a typo and they want 14,5k. They are a dealer.

Shameless plug, my car still available for low 9ks.

Doesn't sound right to me. Looks too nice and those look like CCW wheels.

You know what they say. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Who would sell a clean car for $4500 with $2200 worth of 18" CCW Track Classics wheels? It has to be a typo or the deal of the century. Something looks vaguely familiar though but I can't quite pin it down.

if yo get a hold of somebody - BE CAUTIOUS!
I recall seeing this car for sale online for much more.

Scammers often use pics from actual cars for sale in the past and sometimes eve the matching description.

Common sense will go a long way. Sending any funds through any site or wire transfer is your first clue....
Also don't fall for the give half the funds that will be held by a third party company until car is delivered with 100% satisfaction guaranteed.... car will never show up and you'll be out the $$.

the "deal of a lifetime" is what scammers lure you in with. Ask lots of questions, and listen to your instincts.....

The bad phone number is a recent trick to get people to email them. Putting a phone number in the ad that does not work makes the ad look legit and the seller can say the phone number is a typo or something. the buyer might also think they have the inside track as others will give up when they get the bad phone number.

In this case that phone number is a dialup number for AOL

I reckon if you hear back it'll be the usual scam from here on out.

Hahahaha read the email I got from this guy!
"Hello

Thank you for your interest in my Porsche 944 Turbo.
The car is still for sale. The price that you have to pay in order to own the car is 5,000 $ with shipping costs included.
My wife got promoted and we had to move to Switzerland,so the car's
current location is Zurich, Switzerland.
I'm sorry if the listing showed US,I forgot to update the item location
field.
I'm selling the car at this price because it is registered in US and if
I want to transfer the registration here (it's required to do that if I
want to keep it here)
I would have to pay a lot of money.I didn't know about this issue when
I arrived here.
It is in immaculate condition,no scratches, no damages, no hidden
defects, never been involved in an accident. The engine runs smoothly.
The car was garage kept and rarely used.It is registered in United
States and it has clear title.
It will be shipped with Lufthansa Air cargo, crated and fully
insured. The shipping duration is approx 6 days.
I preffer I sold It , they are a drop off location for this kind
of service. Also, they will take care regarding the payment and shippment to you.
They have a return policy, you have 15 days to inspect it,if you find
something wrong with it you have the right to send it back and you will receive a full refund.
I think this is the best way to do this trade knowing that i am not in the states.
Let me know if you are interested in buying it and i will contact I sold It to make all the formalities."

WHAT A SCAM!

I can confirm that this car was on ebay as well, I remember taking a good look at it. $14,500 is more like it.
