I'm considering an 89 951 in Orlando but I don't want to drive it back to Ohio without timing belt and water pump service!! Anything else I should have done before the 1000 mile trek home. Just considering it right now haven't made offer on the car yet. Thanks guys this sight has been a huge help.

Robin at redbone has serviced my '89 951S since new. -He knows and -much more importantly- LOVES the 944/951/968 line.
There's also Zotz garage in Winter Park, and Nort Northam, also in Winter Park.
Most 951 owners go for Redbone or Zotz, so far as I can tell, but Robin at Redbone gets my vote. -He's also hosted a couple of local Rennlist 944/951 Get-Togethers, so he's definately a top guy.
If you do come to town, consider dropping me a line if you're at a loose end.

VWaddict said it best. I've personally had Ron Zotz do work on my car, just maintenence but he was a good guy. Hell of a driver but I know the guys at Redbone really like our cars too.
