Unhappy Time to sell my baby

Well guys, Im at a point in my life where I need a reliable yet fun daily driver and my 951 was fitting all but the reliable part. SO yesterday I went out and picked up a 04' VW R32 and completely love it. However this is also meaning I have to sell my car. I am listing it for $10K OBO. I need the car gone soon and am open to offers. The car has a solid engine. Just rebuilt within the past 7k miles. Honed cylinders and all seals/gaskets/belts/rollers etc.. It has all the mods in my signature that were all installed when I did the rebuild WIth exception to the 3" catback and suspension mods.

The car handles great, Has ZERO dash cracks, good paint, and right now I am kicking my own A** for doing this . I bought the car for $9300, put roughly 1.5 times that into mods and maintanence, and now just need it gone.

If you guys need any more info or pics just ask and I will provide.

Lart: Unless you can get close to my asking not interested. sorry man!

But I hope to be back in one of these soon. Its just time to realize it isnt a daily anymore, and being in college, full time job, and with a girlfriend I jsut dont have the time or money anymore.

Thanks guys!

Just a curiosity question, what is your fuel economy with the 55lb injectors?

Good luck with the sale!

Looks like a great car! If it was closer i would definetly consider!

Just don't sell it to someone who will chop it up...even if they CAN get close to your asking price! It's wayyy to nice!

Good luck with the sale!

Not good. My commute (which is slow) mixed with fast commute at night averages about 16mpg I believe. Deffinately went down with the injectors though!

$10k OBO is what its listed for. Im in the car business so I realize there is a asking and a negotiated.....

What suspension do you have in the rear to match with the Bilstein front coilovers?

It has newer bilstein rear struts and the M030 swaybar however new stiffer torsion bars were one of my next mods. It does have the "squat" when accelerating hard but not nearly as bad as I have seen on other cars. You dont really notice it unless you are exiting HARD or looking from the outside.

Turbo is stock. I have the Dyno sheet to prove/show 289rwhp and 330rwtq. When we tore the engine down I looked the Turbo over and it was completely dry inside, spun freely, and had literaly no shaft play. Very solid.

Body has 183K miles.

I should also note:

I have documentation on the motor, and can give you my mechanics phone number. I will get a recipt for the cylinder head, and try and scroung up as much info on paper as I can. I have TONZ of pictures. Most mods (since they are bolt-on) were done by me in a service bay at my work on a 4-point car lift. SO I have no recipts on install and all recipts for my mods were lots during a house move a few months ago. can you say loss of equity in the 951 with that event?

This car was a project car. I was shooting for a very solid track car that was street tempered. IT is very solid and the body looks great however this is not a concourse car. It was intended to be used. I am 20 y/o I bought the car when I was 18. I work at a highline car dealership and value good running and solid cars. THis car was used and intended as a fun, quick runner, and IT was not a beater/abused car for a 18 y/o.

Leif Johnson did the engine work.

Almost forgot:

Oil pan has been baffled the same way milledge did theirs but was based on and used the Lindseyracing baffle kit. The engine also has the LR steam vent kit.

The R32 is exactly that. A Perfect daily driver. I get good gas milage. Its small and easy to park, Simple to drive, Has AMAZING seats, All the creature comfurts with exception of nav, and handles like its on rails.

DO I dare say that It feels more solid through turnes then the 951 to me?
