flunctuating and high idle, Any ideas?

smoke test or not. I think you missed a vacuum leak. do you have a manaul boost controller? line going to WG burnt/rubbed through? just an example of the many ways you can miss the leak. line going to KLR broke inside car?

Default TPS position

spanky, go in your engine compartment, turn the throttle cam and let it come back down to rest as if you were taking your foot completly off the gas. Does the tps click when the throttle reaches the bottom of it's travel?
I preformed the test on the TPS unit by rotating the throttle cam open and then alowing it to close slowly. Not a sound, no clicking, repeated 4 times nothing .Bad TPS unit or mispositioned TPS unit. Thanks.

wierd. still havent found it, however a buddy of mine jsut bought the car from me and now me and him together are going to fix the problem. thanks for the help guys.
