Default Dont understand the vacuum hose configuration!!

Hi!

I have reviewed my vacuum hoses and revealed discrepancies!

I really need your help on this. The attached image shows my vacuum line config. The thicker light green lines shows how my (wrongly?) hoses connect. Please notice my throttle house isn't connected! This also goes for the fuel pressure regulator, which has some kind of odd connection.
In general my car has some some resemblance of both the Lindsey Racing Venture delete (with the check valve free) config together with the stock config.

My car runs well. Chipped. No misfiring or troubled idling. Sometimes, very seldom, the idle gets interrupted for one second but is back again as normal.
Is this config OK?
Should I try the Lindsey config?
What is Venture delete?

Any advice helpful!

Kind regards
Stephan

That's because the above makes no sense with no vac to your damper.

Here you go, some people need to leave well enough alone for OZ951 work.

The venturi part, you can delete. The manifold pictured is also a later model, with two outlets pictured between runners 3 and 4; early manifolds do not have that feature.

The diagrams on Lindsey Racing's site are also very good and a bit easier to follow than OZ951's diagram mainly due to the difference in layout.

OK guys thank you for your replies!
Two questions though:
1. What is the benefit of Venturi deletion?
2. The fuel vapor purge system: On the Lindsey schematics there are TWO hoses! But on Ski's there are THREE. What happened with the third? Is it plugged on the fuel vapor purge?

Kind regards
Stephan

your fuel damper needs vac or boost. the small valve is thermal related, it needs no boost or vac.

here is the factory diagram and legend

Is the small valve you are talking about letter "I" in the diagram the temperature valve? What happens if it is not connected into the vacuum system. Can I just bypass it and leave the two vacuum ports on it open. The last diagram on lindsey's page shows it being bypassed.
