Default Flash to pass??

Has anyone tried setting this up on thier cars? Maybe using the fog lights since the headlamps are not always up? What would it take to make this work? I guess by flash to pass I mean something like we used on the Grand Am car where you just hold a button down and it flashes at interval on it's own.

If the headlights are down and you click the brights on, the fogs will light..is this along the lines of what you're talking about?

I didn't know they did that, wow. Well i was thinking along the lines of a set up like we used on the Grand Am cars, that was run through the Motec system with a button on the steering wheel/dash unit. I never knew our fogs flashed like that if the h/l's are down.

If you have a Euro car the driving lights flash.

My old Conquest had a cool feature for 'flash to pass'. Hold the lever back to the flash position for a second or two, and the headlights would pop up, allowing you to flash. After a couple of seconds after you finish the flash, they'd drop back down.

Cool feature, but I never used it. I only found out about it by reading the owner's manual, tried it out a couple of times, then the cool ran off.

With the headlights off and my fog light switch is off, pulling back on the stalk flashes the fogs to pass, if the switch is in the on position they do not flash

I just tried this morning, and this is the only way I could get them to work. Sounds a little backwards to me, but it works!

If the fog switch is on the headlights light up when you pull the stalk. Essentially its wired so that when the fog switch is on its assuming you have the headlights up, so when you flash your brights it does the brights in the headlights.
