Haha, I know I know. Everybody tells me I'm crazy but I don't know why but the Fuchs just never did it for me. Maybe it was because I was picturing regular 944 Turbo Fuchs and not the 930 Fuchs. I'll admit, I'm hooked now and I really want a set.

Now if I can just talk Ryan into letting me "try them out on my car" more often

hey I am not one to drive prices up, but if you can get a nice pair of 9" for a grand you better jump FAST! That is an exceptional price...... I see most go in the 1400ish range....... full polish more in the 1800 range.

nope - 7s and 8s - 86 944T wheel option.

The 9" only came on the 930 (aka 911 Turbo)

you can tell by the depth of the wheel lip. Look at my car above with polished wheels, then look at this one..... notice how thin the lip is

on 7" fronts (white car) notice almost no rea lip
on 8" rear white car, front polished on red car - a notable lip
on 9" rear red car polished - clearly a deeper looking wheel (wide lip) compared to 7 and 8

if it's na they will be 15" not 16" unless you have a really wierd car.

The 16" 944T fuchs are made to clear the larger brakes.

Thats exclusive to Porsche taste "really wierd car" its actually spelled weird but will let it slip! Voith is right on, he has option code 348 along with 393. In 85 1/2 along with the revisions to the 944 model line they updated the options as well. I have seen several '851/2 and later non turbo 944's with 16" fuch standard as they were ordered and followed suit on the window sticker. In fact I have seen some P-car options that were installed at the factory that will blow your mind! So before anyone goes trying to tell someone else how it is think twice! No one on this forum has all the facts most of the talk here is just that, OPINION!

I'm not exactly sure what he was trying to say... but there is no way that the wheels on his car are the same as pictured on Gabe's. You can tell from the pictures. Show me a car that came optioned from the factory with 951 wheels on the front, and 930 rears... and I'll buy you lunch, or atleast pay-pal it to you.

Whoops spoke to soon again, check those option codes I talked about 2 post's up then research the data? And as for the 16" x 8" x 9" fuchs that this thread is referring too well you would be wrong about that too. The '86 951 cup cars or better known as club sports 030 in '86 had 951 part # 16" x 8" fuchs in front and 951 part # 16" x 9" in the back! So they actually are not 930 wheels they have a different offset and part # but I think you guys get the idea! Its all about research, there is so much information on the web now that you could spend days just digging up all the 924,944,968 data! You cant be to set on just North American cars either because we dont even make up half of the market. You have to look at the whole world market and you will see what I mean when it comes to options and unusual factory cars.

Seriouly... step away from the red bull! Deep breath....
I do realize what you are saying. 348 = grand prix white wheels, 393 = 16 x 8 & 9 (944, 944s, 951).
Those are NOT the wheels from the OP.
I'm not offering you an "OPINION" of what the wheels are. Im telling you, 944 8's in the front, 930 9's in the back.
930 9's are indeed different from the wheels in Voith's pic, but I would wager a guess that 2bridges wheels have a 930 part #. I could be wrong there, as i am speculating based on my opinion of two photographs.

ps... the wheels on Gabe's car are from my '89 carrera frankenstein, thats why I know what they are.

Also note... I didn't say that you couldn't get a 9" wheel on a '44, rather that the OP was about 930 wheels, which Voith does not have.

Hey Ryan, your point is made if I pushed you a little hard I didnt mean to come off that way! By the way the fuchs have a classic Porsche look and I think not only do they look great but with the wider diameter you can really hook up!
