Default Window Removal

Need best techniques or tips for removal and replacement of passenger side window. Checked archives and Clarks garage and have not found much.

Are you talking about removing the small rear window?

Removal is easy. Installing is tricky.

To remove, take out all of the bolts holding the power window regulator. Don't remove the track that's bolted to the door. Support it from underneath so it doesn't come crashing down. Slide it around until the tracks are off the little wheels of the regulator. You might have to operate the regulator to find the optimum position. Lift the window out of the door, highest point first, to the outside of the car.

Installation is the reverse, but it takes more patience. Get the wheels back in the tracks while supporting the window and regulator. Again, you may have to adjust the regulator to the optimum position. Install the bolts. Test the operation before closing up shop.
