Default Rear suspension/brake questions 89 Turbo S

I am replacing the rear wheel bearing on the Passenger side. The trailing arm was replaced with a non-abs one. The hole for the sensor will have to be drilled and the hole for the hold-down bolt drilled and tapped. The PO replaced the trailing arm, but didn't install the parking brake parts, which are missing.

Left side 951 331 513.0 and 951 331 513.4R Both numbers are on the trailing arm

Right side 951 331 514.0 and 951 331 514.4R It also has 0056 2 87 (Feb. 87?)
This is the one installed by the PO

It may be simpler and cheaper just to buy a used control arm already set up for ABS and with the parts for the parking brake.

Finally the questions:

I can get a trailing arm from an 88 Turbo (non-M30 I think). Is there any difference between the standard trailing arm and the M030 arm? It has the Part number 951 331 514.0 but I'm not sure about the 2nd number (951 331 514.4R on mine)

The rear calipers on the 89 Turbo S appear to be the same as the 87-88 Turbo. Are the rotors the same?

What other rear suspension differences are there between the 89 Turbo S and the 87-88 Turbos?

The castings are a bit different, but I don’t know if the dimensions are.
The 951S arm does not have the circular portion. Bump stop?

Thanks, the one installed by the PO looks like the top one, but doesn't have hole drilled out for the ABS sensor like the bottom one. Any more information regarding differences between the 89 Turbo S and the 87-88 Turbo rear suspensions will be greatly appreciated

Take another look... the top one, 951S, has the sensor installed, bottom is only cast not machined for the sensor or securing bolt. I apologize for the poor quality phone pics.

The rubber bushing is stiffer/harder in the Turbo S/M030 arm, versus a standard arm, but the difference is probably not that significant.

Probably better off finding either a Turbo S/M030 trailing arm, or finding any late offset arm from a car with the ABS (which would be all 944S2s and 968s, along with any 944N/A, S, or Turbo that had the ABS option) - than trying to drill and tap the non-ABS arm.

Rear brake mounting points are all the same. Turbo S has the same rear calipers as any Turbo/S2/968.

You also need to check the stub axle to make sure the PO installed the original stub axle in the non-ABS replacement arm. The ABS stub axle has the pickup ring machined in it for the ABS sensor; non-ABS cars will not have the pickup ring on the stub axle.

951Saga: Thanks for the pics. That's correct, my control arm doesn't have the ABS holes drilled out, but it looks like the upper (no round "bump Stop")

Oddjob: Thanks, that clears a lot up. Does anyone have a right sideTurbo S/M030 trailing arm or a late offset control arm from an ABS equipped car? I will need the parking brake assembly with the control arm.

So far no luck in finding an ABS trailing arm. Does anyone have the parking brake assembly?
