I have a 951 MAX chip I purchased from Lindsey Racing. I sold the car, so I don't need the chip. Never installed it. Never even opened the bag. May loss is your gain. Set up for 26/6 with stock injectors. $199 takes it. PM me if you're interested.

 

Is it for the stock wastegate or for shimmed/tial?

 

I dont think it matters, you will build boost quicker with a shimmed gate or a tial, but as long as you are still set to stock boost, the chip should work with either.

 

I want to run 16 psi, and with a tial in it will hold boost much higher in the RPM's and will run lean.. I have that problem now with my euro products chips...

 

Still I dont believe the wastegate matters, what matters is what psi the chip level is mapped for. As long as you have no vac leaks or anything broken and the chip is mapped for 15-16psi, then you should not run lean whether at 3000 RPMs or 6000 RPMs (if you can hold 16 psi to redline with stock turbo, there is a long thread on this right now )

Ian, When buying russel's chips I don't remember the wastegate being a factor in the chip map options. What you need to know is which exhaust its for (2.5" 3", cat no cat etc.) and whether its a 12-13psi burn, or one for 15-18. He already stated the turbo and injectors, I believe thats all the options. You can verify this by going to LR website and starting to order the chips online.. They will make you option the chip.
You will also need a 3bar regulator if you don't already have one. I just recieved my MAX chips last week, but I'm laid up waiting to have a body shop delete my cutom turkey buzzard holder / left headlight domination. I can't wait to see how they do!

On a side note, did you ever decide if you are going to stay in the Columbus area?
