Default Boxster shift bolt in?

Does a boxster shifter and boot fit in a stock 951? I have a short shifter that is round, not rectangle like stock. Wondering if I can just drop in or what to get it to fit.

I don't think it will fit on the stock lever. IIRC they use a cylindrical shaped lever.

Hmmm, sounds like it would fit my car then. Does anyone have a picture of the bottom part of the shifter?
