I have a turbo transmission for your project.

No keys required.

Depends if they are locked or not. Pistons are expensive, but attainable. The aftermarket keys for aftermarket high-compression pistons, that's another story. Ask Lart if he has those.

You guys are shameless. Too funny though.

How do you know the timing belt didn't break and bend the valves dillon? Peak in that little hole on the cam tower, right about the cap and rotor. If it looks like a pretty clean mesh between belt ribs and cam gear then your ok as far as valves go. If it looks torn up like a rat got caught, I would suggest another candidate. And btw I wouldn't buy any of those keys. They're in the same category as magic beans.

Once again too funny.

What do you mean by locked? What do the keys unlock? Where do you use them?

I am buying a 944. The PO says it has a locked up motor. Thats how he bought it. He was going to do a v8 swap but never did it. I will have to see what happened.

thats exactly what I'm doing. Just need to make the S motor faster until I get a 951. My 944S has sat for about 10 years in a garage.

I am starting it up today. Just have to remove the power steering belt first because it's rubbing on coolant pipe. I will just run it for about 10 seconds because theres a very small hole in the oil filter.

got the 1987 Burgundy 944 Friday and the interior back together. Then, I took the head off. Theres rust around the pistons and I can't turn the crankshaft. The oil is a milkshake. Is there any way to unfreeze the motor?
