Default How do I get to this...

Think I got everything done except for getting to the seals on this:

Any idea?

Also, what are those two wire connections below the oil filter?? Just for future ref.

there is no need to remove the oil pump. it is sealed by locktite. and plus you will need to remove the sump otherwise wou will break the sump gasket. do do the main seal and oring, remove the keyway and then that washer. under the washer will be the oring.

+1 Don't remove the pump....just pull the seal (you have to pull the sleeve first). Check the sleeve for a wear groove - if it is grooved (most likely!) you need to replace it - same for the balance shaft selase / sleeves.

Don't forget there is a small o-ring once you remove that spacer/washer before you remove the large seal on the pump.

didnt even see the seal behind the washer until now.. lol What is the torque spec on the bolts that go around there??

Looks like I will have replaced all the seals after this one. Anything else I need to do while im in there?? what should I use to clean all the metal parts before putting it back together?
