Hi,

I have recently installed a Lindsey MBC in the my 89 Turbo. It is mounted under the dash on the passenger side. My son noticed while at the Barber DE this past weekend that when the car came on boost, he could hear a whooshing noise that seemed to be coming from that area. I am half deaf, and have never heard it, but when we took it out on the access road, with helmet off, I could hear it as well. Is this normal, or a leak. I had never heard it before while driving around town, but never really get on the boost that much in town.

I can hear mine slightly. So I hope its normal! But only when WOT and at full boost.

I have pretty good hearing (according to Marine Corps standards at least...) and I don't hear any whoosh from my MBC. Mine is mounted as follows tho:
