Going to be doing some work on the car soon to get ready for the spring cruise season and PCA DE events and had a question.
I have yet to replace my wastgate, purchase a set of chips, replace exhaust, or get a MAF. I know the optimum thing to do here is to just purchase a wastegate, eliminate the cycling valve, and tie in the Accuboost and be done with it. But as this being my first turbo car, I am still learning things every day about it. I am guessing the Accuboost does nothing for me until I do the wastegate?

I'm running one on my Saab, adds a lot of snap. More boost faster at lower RPMs. Without it, there is some boost signal to the WG causing the WG to open a small amount. That slows the boost rise and makes the car feel softer, slower.

absolutley.
It will significanly help with the spool of your turb and turning the boost on. The car stock leeks boost to give you more turbo lag than there should be. For the little money I think its a great purchase until you go bigger
