Default If you're going to vent to atm

you might as well slap this on the end and duct it back into the system

-40 degrees!

or just plumb this in there somewhere

30-1 pressure ratio!

Yep, you can put a small orifice in a piping system and it will cool the charge as it flows to the lower pressure side of the orifice. This is generally the principle behind refrigeration. However, these small orifices or as NASCAR calls them restrictor plates, do decrease flow considerably.

Quicker spool?

It may be cold air coming out of that thing, but it still is exhaust gases so there would be no point in routing it back into the intake (if that is what you're talking about).

True, but I have seen tests that show flowing less cold air gains more hp than flowing more hot air.

It would all depend on how much the flow would be restricted.

If you think it will help, put an orifice plate between your throttle body and intake. Or maybe you could just operate the car at half throttle.

Have you heard of an intercooler?

My intercooler is a LR stage 2. It has those pesky end connection restrictions lopped off and bigger ends welded on.

Well, an intercooler is basically the same if you think about it.

It is a large restriction to airflow that offers a pressure drop and cools the charge. But the cooler charge air far outweighs the restriction.

I'm not saying that other piece will do the same, but in theory it seems much like a miny IC.

Not my intercooler. My intercooler is an air to air heat exchanger. Not a condenser or evaporator.
