Please try using some basic grammar in your post. I have read that three times and still have no idea what the hell you are trying to ask.

Not trying to be rude, sorry...

In english, does that translate too...

Your tach needle is not reading correctly when it moves, and your aftermarket tach did the same thing.

How have you determined that it is not reading the correct RPM?
Does the needle bounce? Where is the idle RPM?
Could you provide some more details/symptoms?

Sounds like you're a student who isn't really listening to the teacher. Answering the questions above will help people solve your issues.

I think that his typing skills, or lack there of, is what the Chili Peppers are singing about in "Californication".

I find it hard to believe that anyone can spell anything wrong now-a-days, as every internet browser has built-in spel cheqk.

Question

In stead of ripping on me answer my question. My tachometer and speedometer do not show the correct readings, and i wanted to know if anyone out there has had the same problem and what they did to solve it.

Default tach

well one day when i was trying to install a stereo, The alpine alarm started going off. Before that day it had never gone off and i do not have a clicker for it so i just cut the wire to the speaker. later i was driving the car when i punched it and i hit the rev limiter and the tachometer only read about 4,000 rpm, and the speedometer at about 35 mph when i was going 50 plus. the tachometer at idle reads lower than it should about 200 to 300 rpm. the water temp gauge goes up all the way and the fuel and volt are at zero.

anything else u need to know if u see any more mistakes with my post let me know i am on my way to work and I am trying to rush. I hope this helps u find me an answer.

Sure...that will certainly motivate prople to help you out.

BTW...most of us are here to hassle eachother...but on rare occassion we share from our experiences of when things like tachs don't work.

The symptoms you describe sound like gremlins in your system. Never heard of such things. All your gauges are reading incorrectly at one time?? Weird.
