Prices for Guard LSD units? Who has the best price? What did you pay?

What do you mean "disappear"? Guard is not stopping production on these. So why are they going to disappear?

I'm guessing he means that he had some in stock at a good price and 'don't be late and miss out' type of thing. We can always get them here but you will pay more through us than direct through Guards. We buy direct from the manufacturer but pay more than you do in the US. Crazy...

Yeah. I got mine! :-)
Nobody else wanted to come up with the $2+k.
Here's a couple of pics. Just in time for the POC SpringThing...

Which one did you wind up purchasing Tony, ratio-wise?

ok get out you ME degrees again and and come back and descuss the fact that the lock up under deceleration requires engine braking and if your rear brakes decelerate the wheels quicker than the engine the the dif would see acceleration type loading under braking . I question weather more lock is required under braking in a front engined car.
bear in mind that under brakes a 911 has 50/50 weight distribution and a 951 is probably close to 75/25 front rear.

If you have the 5/33 rear brake bias valve, do you think that if that uses more rear brakes that then discourages nose dive under brakes, therefore keeping that 75/25 a bit more under control?

>>>descuss the fact that the lock up under deceleration requires engine braking<<<
In order for the LSD to go to 80% lockup (in the case of my particular setup), only a slight deceleration is required.
Keep that in mind in your discussions.
The idea is to be able to get on the brakes later... much later.
