John's products are top notch, as is his service, and I will be happy to vouch for both. I am EXTREMELY pleased with everything I have ever purchased from John, and there's more than one Rennlister who have ridden in my car that will be able to verify the performance of my 951.

Vitesse ROCKS!

Regards,

Great sale.

If I had to do it over again on my 2.5, I'd still select the stage two as "in my opinion" it's an outstanding street turbo package. A few weeks ago a group of us went out with the cars and I put a beating on my wife driving my 400WHP ZO6 @ only 17 PSI on 91 octane. This was shortly after the two of us embarassed a 997S (a few times).

I've been in super 75 cars, Vitesse stage 3 cars, 27/6 Cars, GT25 & GT30 cars, and I still believe the stage 2 is a better choice with respect to spool up and delivery for a street car. You can't beat the out of the box plug and play package of the Vitesse Kit. With race gas I can still run 25 psi for the fun track days.

Does the stage 2 turbo beat the K26/8 with respect to both spool up and delivery ?

Spool is about the same (I see 15psi by 2950) but delivery is much more linear. @ 5K rpm's in 2nd gear under full throttle I break both tires loose with 275's and a fresh suspension. 1st can be useless if you let it and a bit of throttle during a third gear shift keeps them spinning. On occasion it slips my new cup clutch on a fast shift in the upper gears.

I take it the only difference between the St2 and St3 is the size of the turbo with the stage 3 being a larger unit? I'm guessing the MAF and piggy back are essentially the same?

Scott & Jeremy, thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you like your Stage 2s..

Thom, as Jeremy responded. The Stage 2 is very fast spooling (someone had a video showing 6psi boost at idle, just revving the engine - I don't advise it). Stage 2 is capable of supporting 400rwhp, I would say this is a bit more than the K26/8. It's a different feel, you have power on demand, and very linear.

sawood12, you are correct, the main difference hardware wise between Stage 2 and Stage 3 is the turbo.

Wow John, Great sale. I can also vouch for John's products. They are awesome quality and John was very helpful with the MAF (s) I have purchased from him.

I can't speak about the Stage 3 turbo. Mine is lying on a bench and I won't be able to install it before several months...

But the MAF (without PB) is a great product. Great spool and driveability, idle is perfect and as it has already been told, John provides a great customer service and is very helpful (I wonder if he ever sleeps )

Well, let me give my numbers from the Dyno today on my 86 with John's MAF, 75# injectors and FPR. I do have a shimmed factory wastegate and MBC. Other than these Mods, the car is Stock, no other bolt-ons or internal mods. I made 245WHP and 276WTQ, this was on a Dynojet. The car has just over 100K on it and runs like a dream. If I had something other than the K26/6 I would expect to see both of these numbers increase a lot, since the k26 gives up and dies off quick at 5K RPM and flows NO WHERE near the air that John's turbos do. Just a reference for the MAF and quality of the tune for the MAF, HP and Torque curves look perfect, and linear.

Thank you for the feedback!

A quick update for those that are waiting to the last minute. There is only one Stage 2 and one stage 3 left under this promotion.

Thanks.
