No chip needed, but will be fine.
As stated, more parts needed. I need one for an extra, just incase the ECU is bad once I get the car back together. There were some flaky things going on with several things and there were some wires in the harness that looked pretty bad.

PM Replied. I don't want to pay a fortune for it. The car ran, but had some wiring harness damage. The 12V switched port at the diagnostic port showed 12V with my meter, but would drop to 1-2 V when load was applied. That is the main reason I think I may have problems with DME.
