Hope it's just a gasket issue (MLS), will tear it down toward the end of March.
55k fun street miles, pretty much trouble free after the intial bugs were worked out.
Been too busy to even get back to the track.
No worries George your in good hands.

yeah, 3300lbs is more than the 951, but considering today's cars, it is a lightweight. It's kind of like inflation: 2900lbs in 1988 is like 3300lbs in 2008!

The Panamera is a unmitigated botch job from what I've seen. A huge mistake but somehow a bit Porsche in saying that. Really just looks like something some students put together out of the parts bin. Yech!

I'm a bit concerned about the comparisons to the 944 and BMW's. I'm not sure I see any relationship at all. Surely a 944 successor has to be a front engined, rear gearbox configuration at the very least - 50/50 weight distribution (or close to) with the main masses located directly over the axles. BMW's may have 50/50 weight distribution but the weight is positioned differently. This gives a very different handling characteristic. This is why i'd liken a 944 more to a Ferarri 599 - a front engined car with a rear transaxel providing good balance with progressive handling on the limit. You'll never have a BMW with a rear transaxel because the gearbox would be where the owner want to put their golf clubs.
