That's the plan. I want to mate a modified supra bellhousing and clutch assembly to the torque tube in order to make use of the 951 transaxle. That might put the engine to far forward though, so I have a few alternative plans.

A Supra motor in a 951...wow! I can't decide if this makes me want to puke in my mouth a little bit...or gives me a boner. Ought to be a very interesting project either way. Good luck.

well if it was half the price of a 944 s2 motor and you don't pull it apart it was a good idea .
how heavy is it . I think it is worth a bit of effort to try get it sitting back it the car even perhaps move the front cross member forward an inch .
All Toyota engines are legendary for strength my choice is the 3.0 hilux (pickup)4cylender .

What about a 911 turbo engine sitting in the backseat area pointing backwards for mid-engine mounting?
