After converting the car to a widebody setup the front bumper shell and splitter were just too narrow. So my "plastic" guys (most of what they do is carbon btw) developed a 4" wider version of those. I was impressed myself with how much better the car looks, it is massive this way.
Next step is to re-produce the custom bumper beam, now it is at it looks: Plastic taped together.
Some more pictures, just for fun:

The grill insert on the hood actually is from a Viper. Still need some ducting set up to improve the forced airflow.
The holes will offcourse be covered with mesh. Not shure if I want to go for a "open" look with view on the intercooler, or a bit more closed "black holes".
I agree that the tapes actually look cool, and would make for an interesting design. But we decided different: This is a 997 version of how the final result is going to look:

So Hans is yours now 4" wider per side or all together? Hard to tell as it looks MASSIVE! So I assume this was designed after your wider track suspension was all sorted? Excluding your wheels how much wider are you from Hub to Hub?
Love your flow through venting too, again MASSIVE!

No, it is only 4" overall. A bit hard to say exactly , because the A-arms are adjustable, but the current setting is IIRC almost exactly 2" per side on the hub.
The new bumper shell makes the car look a lot wider.
The guy who makes my plastic did not like the idea at the start, but now he is thinking about making an even wilder version for his showroom.
BTW OT: Is your avatar your new deckplated block?
