The ER ones DO come with a little rubber seal (see it in the pic?) - I don't know if the RE ones do...
As for how good is the seal? I don't know. I don't street the car - but do race/DE in the rain, and I haven't had a problem yet.

3 years on my rear RE kit (monoballs, and alum and delrin mounts) and no squeeks. To avoid the delrin squeek you have to machine it to a tight tolerance so that the bushing itself doesn't rotate (according to my mechanic who machined the bushings for me).
It's been a while since I looked at mine, but with the monoball installed in the trailing arm, the washers, nut, and bolt head should form a fairly good seal on the ends.

I usually use the racers edge parts... . . with the exception of the tbar bushing. The elephant racing bushing is nicer!

I agree the Elephant torsion bushings are the way to go.
I think I'd feel more comfortable with sealed monoballs on a car that will see more weather than a track only car.
