I'm doing this right now, I had the Delrin bushings and during the summer they developped a very annoying sqeeking sound so I orderd the Elephant Racing's one and I'm installing them right now. So I can't tell if they are better but they do look sweet

I have nothing against the Delrin one's, maybe I screwed up installing them, so I'll let others chime in.

The Elephant bushings are sealed units and therefore
would be good on the street, are the Racers Edge sealed?

They are not really sealed, they are metal on metal with a grease fitting but water could go in no problem.

Both units would be good for street or track, but for peace of mind, I'd go Elephant, but mind you, I have not tried them yet, I'm just installing them but the fact that you can grease them sounds like a good idea.

Tim, incidentally I have a lengthy diatribe of a post on the turbo board about this very subject.

I was wondering the same thing and I am currently considering getting everything from racer's edge to save a little bit of money. Environmentally my car will sit until it is used for DEs and then sit some more. Won't see much moisture etc...

I have parts from both companies. I also have the creaking from somewhere in the rear, but haven't had time to check exactly from where. The products themselves are both of high quality.

Nothing to seal, they're just as you see on the website, just a bushing that replaces the old rubber bushings

Delrin

ER's are composed of two parts

I think this is actually a question with two answers. They are both top notch companies with great parts.
To combine them in different applications could very well make a lot of sense.
For spring plate bushings, I would go straight to elephant racing. Beyond that you could mix and match with very good results.

Sysgen, I'm refereing to the monoball control arm bearings,
not the springplate bushings.
I use Delrin springplate bushings on my 89 and they work well. I will be upgrading to Elephant Racing spring plate
polybronze bushings on my project car.

I'm wondering if dirt will get into the monoball control arm
bearings if they are not sealed.
