I use the OC 75 on my 951 block in the Callaway 944 Turbo and it touches the coolant hose that comes out of the water pump, but my routing is different than stock.
Not sure what years 911 the filter fits but my guess is due to the minor changes in the air cooled H6 it should fit most years. I would guess from 81' - 89' at least. Might want to check over on the air/oil cooled boards.
