Default Wheel Sizing Help

I am selling the OEM wheels from my 2000 911. A local buyer with a 1987 944 asked if my tires would fit his car.

I know that lots of folks use 17" wheels on their 944's, so I figured I would ask for a littl help. Will my wheels fit a 1987 944 as-is, or will he need spacers?

My wheels are sized:

F: 17X7" X 55ET. Tires: Yokohama AVS ES100, 205/50-17. 996.362.128.00
R: 17X9" X 55 ET. Tires: Yokohama AVS ES100, 255/40-17. 996.362.124.00

Thanks in advance,

-td

if they are the same offset as boxster wheels they should bolt right up. My 89 had some 911 turbo twist wheels, boxsterS twists, and some 18" sport classics and all of those bolted up no spacers.

I ran those wheels on my '89 951; take-offs from a 2000 996C2. They bolted up perfectly with no spacers. I ran 225/45 front and 255/40 rear tires, though.
