I know they are vastly different, but I was kind of using the brake bleeding as an example. I mean, should I have air coming out with no liquid, or liquid coming out?

I don't drive my car often and I'm never stuck in traffic (ran fine for over 4 hours the other day), but I'll have to get it bled by some people that know how to do it.

But no, was not asking if it should be exactly the same.

I was pretty much just messing around with you. It sort of gurggles a little and then just coolant should come out. With a pressure tester you can do the job without worrying about hot coolant. It sounds like your car may be just fine.
