Default Help at hand for you US chaps - Euro rear bumpers group buy offer

Hi guy's I know alot of you are after a euro spec rear bumper so I may be able to help.

Close to my office there is the largest Porsche Breakers in the UK called Douglas Valley: www.douglasvalley.co.uk

They are breaking in excess of 200 944's so if you guy's want then I will talk to them and arrange both a great price on a batch order and shipment to a single address and then you can fight it out amongst each other who gets what color etc

If I can get 10 definate people's 'I want to have one and will pay' then I will do the rest for you as in the UK these things just remain in breakers yards gathering dust. So for now here are some pics from there site:

Real shame somebody will not recue the above lovely rare Turbo Cab

If there is interest in the above then I will arrange a deal for everyone - This is a none profit excersize from my end

Yes your right Tom it's a real shame as the insurance company listed it as a 'cat B' so it can't go back on the road.

LOL Reno ... But they are actually a 30 year establish company doing everything from cars to aviation. I have used them loads in the past as they are a great source for TVR and Lotus parts.

When they setup in business all they specialised in was Porsche - Mate you want to see the rack upon rack of ruined dreams

Great idea. I had thought of this before, but nowhere near 200 of these cars being dismantled in my area!

You should cross post this thread to the 924/944/968 forum for more responses.

Once we have a confirmation of 10 I will call them and get the best deal I can and I will try and get them to contribute to the forum as they are very web based sales wise. I will also try and arrange a pallet shipment direct from the to one of you guy's so I need a volenteer... Ideally somebody who is the most central in the States.

I will also talk to a friend called Alister who owns a Porsche breakers yard again about 5 miles from me. He races in the 924 cup series in the UK so I need to try and get him on here to. His business is called 'Porscha Recycled' and mainly deals in transaxle models.

For a second I thought you'd say the world and I was going to have to disagree. There is a huge 944 parting operation based out of California.

Trust me but don't quote me xsboost ... You can't give these things away over here mate.

As stated once we have ten confirm I will pick up the phone and organise/negotiate the best price even if I have to go down there myself with a spanner to remove them.

The more we get the cheaper for everyone as only the shipping will be the issue but I'm sure we can put them in a shared container and ship by boat.

Plus this way your are getting original OEM porsche product - Will history of a spectacular front ender!
