Default New Pulleys/Gears

I ordered my "free 13hp" ( yeah, nothing is truly free, I know) but, got my pulleys and gears ordered from Jeff and he should be done in a few weeks with it - in Red, white engraving.

I think he's going to make a couple of extra sets with the left over materials if anyone is interested. Almost a 2.0# savings over stock items in steel.

I won't be doing belt covers on the 2.8L, after working on the track car is such a breeze, I think they're a waste of time personally.

Hey Bret, I have the rear cover installed but the fronts are off my car now. Since you run with the covers off do you run the underbody pan? I havent had mine on for years since my car was so leaky but now its leak free I think Im going to reinstall the underbody pan and just leave the front covers off. Thoughts?

Those look awesome btw-

The track car has nothing under it, my street car has the bat wing under it but not the other belly pan. Does the possibility exist to throw something up, I guess but as far as the belt goes, the bat wing does a decent job of protection I think.

Tom, here's the list. That photo is just a grouping, the BS gears are missing. The small one is the alternator pulley, holes drilled to make it lighter.
1 Cam Gear (SAF GEN 3)
1 Crank Gear for Balance Shafts (GEN 3)
2 Balance Shaft gears (balanced and lightened)
2 Balance Shaft gear Washers Lightened (Coni Washer - GEN 2))
1 Main Spindle for Accessories
1 Alternator Spindle
1 Power Steering Spindle
All Fasteners (19)
Spec sheets
Moly Grease

$790 but it's first class workmanship. I want to use these on the 2.8 engine, as the piston/rod combo will be lighter and also the flywheel (stock but down to 10#)

yes, tested at the dyno but I don't remember if it was Paul's car or Jeff's own car.

Thanks Craig.
We're shooting to make Mayfest but it's going to be a timing thing if we can get it all sorted, we've both been way to busy.

I hope to have my car back together by then for some testing. If not I may come down and watch you hot rods anyway and pass out some brews. We'll stay in touch as it gets closer.
Next time take those pictures with one of those old poloroid instamatics so they don't look so dang tempting.

he's just an email away for another set. Black would look good under that hood, out in the open, spinning under there, give a few extra hp around Hallett...
