My op, when cold is at 4.5 ish. I have a standard thermostat, U.S. car. Once it's warm it looks just like the picture. When it's really hot and I've been running it hard, it will get down to about 2 when at idle. Thinner oils also can make a difference. That car isn't really pushing a 50wt oil, it would be pushing the thinner side of the oil when warm. I don't see anything wrong with the numbers I see with this car.

This 1989 car has an M44/52 engine. What is yours?

My '91 951 with 67K miles shows a full 5 bar at start up and has a similar pressure at idle to this Japanese car when it reaches operating temperature. Oil is Mobil1 5W-50 full synthetic. YMMV

This is true, I was tinking about 928. There is separate VIN sequence for Japanise model 928's for certain MY's.

If it were a JP spec car then it would likely have option code 193 'Version for Japan'.
193 is some group of equipments which were installed into some or all cars heading to Japan. C08 is official country code for LHD Japanise cars and it should be listed even if 193 isn't.

Btw I have seen the EX sign on some cars before and I know I have heard what it stands for but I can`t remember.

If it is Japan import the it should have option M193 ..

I know the 944 Lux is a brit marketing thing , maybe the EX is the same

It's interesting having a couple hundred extra set of eyes to point things out.
