Ahmet,

Although I never communicated with you I have used the search function and read some of your post's for help. In regards to your initial question, somehow I enjoy my 951 more that the 996. I am even changing the clutch on it and in between all the curse words, I still find it in my heart to enjoy the boost. Let me add to that and say that I only drove the 951 less tha 1K since ownership.

Yes get back in the Porsche marquee

Alex, can you elaborate on that a bit? I liked HAVING 951s, but I don't enjoy DRIVING them as much as a stiffer 996. I will admit that on track I've only driven the GT3 variant, and have some seat time in both the GT3 and a ROW MO30 car, but even the latter felt quite sharp and precise, the way my 951s have not (though my C2 would likely have x74 or the GT3 suspension)...

Even though I "only have an S2" (slightly modified) I pass E36's all day long at VIR...

Come to the Zone 2 event in March and I'll give you a ride in a very good handleing 944 then you can put your BMW up for sale the next day!!

However, mine's not for sale...

Seriously, with a stiffer suspension the 944 platform is an amazing car. Don't sell it short.

Eh, I dunno. I'd gladly take you up on that offer though, when's your next track event going to be?
