I don't know if it's just me, but I'm certainly faster in e36s than I was in any mildly prepped 944 Turbo, S or otherwise...
PS: Check out how tense my girlfriend looks in this shot, hah.
Currently thinking about 996/Corvette (C5)/Evo/944T, in that order. The C5 is the biggest bang for the buck, except I don't really like how they feel (maybe curable with a few suspension bits, probably not), or their image. I probably ought to buy one to get it out of my system though... Oh, and there's one last set up I really want to try on the current M3, but with all the modifications, I'm already going to take a hit when I sell it, hesitant to put even more money in that car.
Anyway, got any leads on decent cars (that are track worthy) for giggles?

m3 may be a little bit faster sometimes, but shure is waaay uglyer all the time :P

Oh you guys...
I was not lapped by any of the cars in that picture, in fact I believe I had passed all of them, but that doesn't matter as it was an intermediate group for a DE, not a race. All street cars, various level drivers, etc. I posted the picture, because it's funny that even though I'm in a BMW, I seem to be surrounded by Porsches still...
Anyway, that GT3 vs. 944 turbo video is insanely fun to watch, great cars/driving.
I will keep playing w/the idea, but unless a good deal on a track ready car pops up, more than likely I'll do something else. I imagine I'll be in a Porsche sooner or later, even if it's not a 944...

Amhet, I hope that I am not mistaken, but I found this old picture in my HD with the name Ahmhet, is this the same guy that we are talking about, the great "Amhet" if it is than welcome back what are you waiting for? buy another 951.

That is me, that picture is SO old, wow...
I occasionally come by and post to help somebody out, I'm still the moderator over at Pelican. Sadly they're lacking in the water pumper sections, 944T and 996 alike
Hmm, maybe I'll go to another PCA DE, and they'll give me a student driving a nice 944 T?
