I am about to replace the dash on my 1986 951 as the previous one has numerous cracks. Was able to be fine a good used with two small cracks that I have fixed. Given that I am going to have everything apart, I am contemplating also adding an interior / dash trim kit. These are the kind that come in a variety of finishes (e.g. carbon fibre weave, brushed aluminium and various wood veneers) and are attached with adhesive to the existing dash trim. I have seen them on eBay and from Jager Engineering.

I would appreciate any advice on whether these are quality kits (concerned about fitment) and how durable they are.

ive seen the carbon kit- i believe from Jager- in person and it looks awsome. fitment looks great and if it would match anything in my interior i would prob have one myself.

Thanks. My car is also graphite, but over black, so I am now going to have to think very carefully about this change

if mine had a black interior it would be on like Donkey Kong. Sam's car has black interior w/ the carbon and some trim and its awsome.
