Any update on this?

Wow, old thread. I still haven't done that, in fact my car is on jackstands waiting for me put the Vitesse Stage II turbo on. Too many other projects. When it's running again I'll see what difference it makes with a 3" snorkle.

That is insanely nice! I have been waiting to see how good a modded afm looks. You have too much spare time...in a good way. Kudos on the engine bay cleanliness too.

It's not stealth if your telling us about it...

It's funny because 99% of the people look at a 951 engine bay and have no clue what is going on. You could have a big turbo with new intercooler pipes and a CAI/MAF and most would probably think it was a factory option or some thing hahah

Thanks chris951, I wish I has the time that I did for a while.

Ian, the idea was to look stock to the guys who DO have a clue. Not sure that's going to happen with 3" turbo inlet though..

Maybe hook up with CPR to see if he can mold a stock appearing 3" j-boot. It may be a big hit with the CA guys.......and freaks who have obsessions with detail.

Yeah I think I'd rather see him make a 3" snorkle, but the j-boot may be more along his line of work.

A bigger snorkel would be great.

Okay.. That's cool. I see where you're going with the snorkel. I have one suggestion. Don't bother using fiberglass to fill the split. Get some ABS plastic, cut it to the right shape (after everything is fitted and you're down to the patching) and plastic-weld it in.

I would love to attempt something like this as well. Stunning work!

That was below the belt. Don't bust his nuts too much, I won't have room for it for another month or two.
