I guess I could reburn the vid using a mpeg1/2 codec and rehost it for you. I don't know what difference that would make though. Im pretty sure the vid is already in mpeg1 format.

>>>No I have wireless cable, just some windows movies I can't get, I don't know why.
I have the latest codec too...<<<
Can you save the file (movie) to your computer? In other words, are you able to actually download the movie (right click on the link and select "save as" or "save link as")?
Or...
You can save the movie to your computer, but cannot open and play it?

>>>Tony, I'm curious what suspension setup you have. <<<
Bilstein Escorts (no torsion bars), full racers edge suspension bushings/bearings, Weltmeisters.
>>>Occasionally I think I notice a bit of bounce in some corners, but that could be the track, camera, setup etc just wondering?<<<
It's the track.
>>>It really seems like you kind of get in the V8 mood and drive it like a mini 928. I know this is akin to swearing on this forum, and I don't actually mean it as a negative comment, it's just that's how it seems the car likes to be driven.<<<
Suspension and handling wise... no difference between the turbo 4 and the V8. The difference lays in fact that you don't shift nearly as much. You roll on the throttle from a much lower rpm and exploit the fact that the power band is real wide.
With a turbo 4, you know there's a big hit of power when the turbo spools, and you anticipate.
With the V8, there's no big hit of power. And because of this it's misleading. However, it's very easy to overpower the rear tires even at lower rpms exiting corners.
You really have to focus on smoothly rolling on the throttle exiting corners.
The other big difference is the engine compression braking. Specifically when you down shift. You have to have the engine rpms matched correctly as you downshift. If you don't and you let the clutch out just a little to fast, the back end will get loose. Fortunately, I've got the brakes setup perfectly with respect to the brake pedal height so that I can heal-toe perfectly. Without that... it would be a big problem.
I've got a lightweight aluminum flywheel in it now, but it's not light enough. I'm going to go with a much lighter clutch package next time I'm in there, which should make it more forgiving.

Yes that's a good point about the compression braking. Heel and toeing is something everyone who drives should know how to do. I totally get what you mean about the lack of shifting too with all the V8 tq and rev band. With the s2 cw&p one has to do even more shifting, but I don't mind as I find this enjoyable.

>>>Nice video. Did you install power brakes in the car? If so, what kind?<<<
Yes. I have a Bendix Hydroboost unit installed with a Wilwood in-cockpit rear brake proportioning valve installed (no factory proportioning valve).
Works great.

I'm still used to having to shift a lot. That's why my arm is there.
No need to do it with the V8 though.
:-)

>>>Not that it matters but, thats not a c5zo6.
he may have a ls6 in it or something but, thats a ls1 bodied C5.<<<
He said it was some special order package (three letter acronym... but I can't remember what he said). Other than that it looked like a Z06 to me with the side vents and the roof line. But I don't know squat about Vettes.... who knows.
He was running an aftermarket exhaust and Hoosier rubber.

The Z'a are quite a bit faster on a road course then a non-z. +55 HP, bigger sways, stiffer springs, gearing (trans and diff), rigidity, less weight, better pads, more tire, ****tier seats .........
