Is it just me that thinks that this silly rant between two great cars and their owners are just being completely stupid? I really like the 928, 911, and 951 cars. I've owned 911's and 951's from the Porsche family. My preference is the 951. I have a friend with a stable of German cars, his preference is actually his TT Porsche SUV, but I love his 1995 928GTS. It's just an amazing engineering example from Porsche. Another friend has a 911TT cab. I didn't really like this triptronic $120,000+ car until he made me drive on a 70 degree day on open roads. GEEZ, I love that car too. He doesn't like the fact that I SPANK him, but he has an open air badass Porsche that fits his perception of the ultimate sports car.

I suppose all this slander is in jest, but I don't like it. Imagine if we treated each others wives the same way? We like what we like. Lets face the truth. I'll let many friends drive my cars, but none of them can borrow my wife.

Pink slips, winning cars, who cares? Better driving, sharing how to make your choice of Porsche better is really all that matters within the confines of Rennlist.

I could own and drive any Porsche. I've had a few Porsches, and about 10 other sports cars, but the only one that I've ever missed is the 951, so I have one now and have sold a few to folks that still keep in touch because they got one of MY cars. I'll support your favorite Porsche, or your favorite car. We would have something in common if you had passion for a tractor.

This 928 vs 951 stuff seems very silly to me. I probably shouldn't post this, but......
