Hey Nick

16V eninge with turbo, complete exhaust, fuel management, intercooler and oilcooler basically everything is allready sold and found a good home for it!

Got the wheels recently

18*10.5 on the back and 18*8.5 on the front. They are genuine "Techart GT wheels from 996 Techart. Weight differnece between the orange copy wheels and techarts is remarkable.. I would say 2-3 kg per wheel

Some pictures

Bought stock 2.5 liter engnine with lindsey 3" exhaust and borla backbox. In upcoming week I will open this enigne up, will change in there whatever is need to be changed (pistonrings, rodbearings, etc)

Interiour wise.. I am getting use to the black interior what remained from my 54000 km driven 968.. Looks really nice and certainly have nice contrast between orange and black..

I will make more photos in next upcoming weeks when the engine and interiour is completly installed!

If you're going down to Mexico...er I mean Melbourne, make sure you take your black clothes to fit in. That's all they wear down there. hehehe
Those wheels look nice but they're too small. It's hard to get nice aftermarket wheels that are bigger than 10.5 or 11".

Sry Mate that I got your heart broken.. but my heart is broken too (in the way...) I hope that this project has opened some peoples eyes that there are ways of doing things without spending a fortune. Also this car will be fast enough and good looking as well... Only thing it will miss is the 250 ponies from last setup..

I think wheels are fine for streetcar with standard flares. To get any wider wheels to fit you need to do a lot of work. Will see how they will look under the car..

Yes that's right you can't go much wider under stock bodywork, but once you do some body mods unless you go custom wheels, there's not much available in 12" wheels that are really nice looking.
When are you coming down under Markus? Which city are you coming to?

We almost met in the harbour, your ship was leaving and mine was coming to Tallin. I spent a weekend there with my wife. I am heading to Tallin again tomorrow with a friend of mine to pick up Markus' 968 parts car...

I just love Old Town of Tallin. we do not have similar one here in Finland where oldest buildings in Helsinki are just from late 1700's
