Charlies are Aluminum billet and the RE's are steel square tubing.

I'm not sure what the RE's ($1500'ish?) go for but the Charlies are $1895. Probably not a big performance difference. I really can't speak for the RE arms, I have never used them.

Ok, I sent a pm to the John D to see if I can set up a group buy. I have not heard back from him yet. When I do, I will reply here and I will start a new thread for the details.

From what I understand the RE's also allow best for lowering of the car in relation to maintaining the standard geometry. Have to check Karls site again, but this is why I bought mine. Cheaper too, but not going to get quite the same quality of women with the box welds. lol

Do you (or anyone else) know how the weight compares and how the Charlie Arms compare wrt maintaining suspensio geometry when lowering?

Thanks.

Any updates on availability and/or group buy? I'm interested in a pair of short arms for an '86 951.

I have a 87 944 Turbo. I have the Charlie Arms and a Cup suspension in it. I had them put on about two years ago. I am currently sell the car. So if anyone wants to buy my car please send me a pm. The car has been tracked about 6 times.
